PEACHTREE CITY, USA – The Atlanta Headquarters of Aventure Aviation held a holiday luncheon December 6 at the Due South restaurant in Peachtree City, Georgia. It was attended by over 40 staff members and guests, many who participated in a festive ugly sweater contest.
Company leaders reflected on highlights of 2018, including a successful year of growth and opportunities seized. This past year, Aventure attended thirteen conferences, participated on eight panel discussions, and volunteered with nine charitable events.
“2018 was a great year for us, and I’m especially proud of our collective charity,” said Melissa Coleman-Grina, Aventure′s Senior Director of Business Development. Highlights include donating thousands of pounds of food, a 1,200 mile bike ride for cancer research, and providing duffel bags of needed supplies for local foster children. “We have an extremely generous team that believes in giving back,” Melissa added.
The company also became ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B certified, and had their ASA-100 and FAA 00-56B certifications reaccredited.
“These certifications show our continuous improvement to meet both regulatory and customer requirements,” said Chris Jackson, Aventure′s Quality Control Manager.
