Honoring Fathers on Father’s Day

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – This year, Father’s Day takes place June 15 in the United States, and Aventure would like to recognize the countless contributions made by fathers.

The holiday is a time to reflect on the values of leadership, responsibility, and dedication fathers show every day to their families, communities, and workplaces.

Aventure was founded in 2001 by two fathers, Zaheer Faruqi and Amyr Qureshi. Zaheer’s three sons, Talha, Hamzah, and Osman, started their careers at Aventure by working part-time in the Aventure warehouse during high school. Over the years, they rose through the ranks to take on leadership roles within the company, and eventually became fathers themselves.

“Fatherhood is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done—it’s a blast every single day,” said Andrew Crombie, director of asset management. “Though sometimes, it feels like your kids are AOG (Aircraft On Ground), and every part you’ve got on the shelf is BER (Beyond Economical Repair),” he joked.
