NEWARK, DELAWARE, USA – Piedmont Airlines hosted its first annual charity golf tournament on September 26 at the Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, Delaware. The event included a silent auction and reception dinner.
Aventure Aviation was a hole sponsored, and Senior Director of Business Development, Melissa Coleman-Grina, volunteered.
Money raised will benefit the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. The United Way is a nonprofit that works with almost 1,200 local offices throughout the U.S. in a coalition of charitable organizations. Piedmont is an American regional airline operating for American Eagle (formerly US Airways Express).
