Aventure Receives 2016 Global Impact Award

ATLANTA – Aventure Aviation received a 2016 Global Impact Award on April 20 at a ceremony held at the seventh annual Global Impact Awards Luncheon at the Georgia Aquarium.

The event is hosted by the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Global Commerce Council to honor international business excellence, innovation and leadership. Companies and organizations compete in four categories: foreign investment, global business growth, innovation and global partner.

Aventure won the Global Business Growth category, beating out major competitors Equifax and InComm. This category recognizes a metro Atlanta company or organization that has exhibited significant growth globally in terms of international investment, export of goods and services and/or international partnerships.

Attending on behalf of Aventure were President Zaheer Faruqi, Vice President of Operations Talha Faruqi, and Controller Maria Brodzik.

“We are grateful for this recognition from the Atlanta Metro Chamber in the area of global trade,” said Talha Faruqi. “This award is a testament to our great team at Aventure who work tirelessly in our offices across the world to serve our customers.”

The luncheon was emceed by Fred Blankenship, the morning anchor for Atlanta’s Channel 2 Action News, and the keynote speaker was David Abney, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of UPS.
