Aventure Offers HEPA Filters for Air Recirculation on Commercial Aircraft

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure Aviation is offering a new supply of filters for the commercial aircraft fleets of its customers, consisting of air, water, fuel, and oil filters. Aventure has specifically increased its offering of HEPA air filters in response to concerns due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most commercial aircraft use High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which capture a minimum of 99.9% of contaminants, such as viruses, bacteria, pollen and dust.

For example, the Boeing 737 has two HEPA filters located in the forward cargo compartment back wall. The cabin air is recirculated through the grill vents located at the bottom of the cabin sidewalls at floor level. Recirculation fans pull the cabin air, pass it through the HEPA filters, mix it with pure outside air, then re-enters the passenger cabin at ceiling height.

By constantly adding fresh air from the atmosphere, the air in the passenger cabin is extremely clean and less polluted and contaminated than that found at ground level.
