ATLANTA, USA – Team members from Aventure Aviation’s Atlanta headquarters joined the local chapter of the National Association of Chinese-Americans (NACA) for a holiday season food drive.
They donated several boxes of non-perishable food items to St. Vincent de Paul Society, in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We always try to have a positive impact within our community. This is a great way of doing so, especially during a time when people need it most,” said Aaron Winfrey, Aventure Aviation junior sales representative.
Donated items were collected by NACA at their annual holiday dinner. “It’s always great to have dinner with friends, but even better when you can help other families have dinner as well,” said Lani Wong, NACA Chair.
Since COVID started, NACA has provided over 30,000 meals to the Atlanta Food Bank, $2,500 for children dealing with food insecurity, $2,500 to help families with rent and utilities, and over 20,000 N95 surgical masks for the community.
NACA is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of cordial relationships between the United States and China. Their mission is to bridge cultures, build leaders, and benefit communities all across the country.
