Aventure Reflects on Green Initiatives for Earth Day

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – In anticipation of Earth Day on April 22, Aventure would like to reflect on how we can all help make a positive impact on the planet. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day is an annual event to promote the importance of environmental conservation.

It’s estimated that over a billion people participate each year, making it the largest secular observance in the world.

Aventure Aviation recognizes its responsibility to help the aviation industry attain sustainability. Aventure has long prioritized eco-friendly practices in their daily operations.

One initiative is the use of on-site electric car chargers at the Aventure’s Atlanta headquarters. They have reduced the use of fossil fuels for employees and visitors over the past five years.

The company has also sponsored industry-specific innovative green initiatives like the Solar Impulse 2, the world’s first solar-powered aircraft to circumnavigate the Earth.

Aventure also recycles aircraft parts from the retired airplanes it acquires. Removed parts are re-certified by FAA approved shops as once again being airworthy.

“By working together and taking action towards a more sustainable future, we can all make a difference for the health of our planet and the well-being of future generations,” said Hamzah Faruqi, Aventure’s director of commercial sales.
