PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure Aviation attended the inaugural World Defense Show, which took place March 6-9, in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh.
The event is founded by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), and is focused on military interoperability across air, land, sea, security and satellite defense systems. The event will be held biennially in Riyadh.
“The networking opportunities were tremendous due to the large presence of international exhibitors and attendees,” said Ron Taylo, Aventure’s operations manager for military sales. “We examined a large variety of global defense products, and participated in their Meet the Buyer Program. We look forward to the next edition in 2024.”
The dedicated Meet the Buyer area is where one-on-one meetings took place, bringing together global buyers with pre-vetted suppliers and industry decision-makers.
The exhibitions featured nearly 600 companies representing over 40 countries. There were comprehensive and interactive displays of integrated defense technology solutions, alongside conferences and education seminars focused on the next generation of defense.
The event was attended by many prominent figures in the Middle East and the world. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman inaugurated the event on the show’s first day.
