Staff from Aventure Volunteer at Midwest Foodbank

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Employees and friends of Aventure Aviation sorted and boxed over 1,300 food and beverage items at the Midwest Food Bank, in Peachtree City, Georgia, on September 11.

Founded in Illinois in 2003, Midwest Food Bank distributes nearly $34 million worth of food to over 2,200 non-profits each month. Active since 2011, the Georgia location currently serves 260 agency partners located in over 56 counties across six states.

A faith-based organization, Midwest Food Bank’s mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites. Aventure Aviation has contributed to their vital mission since 2017.

“This was a very gratifying experience,” said Aventure Marketing Representative, Michael Griffiths Jr. “It’s great knowing that we can be a part of something bigger than ourselves.”
