PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Ray Walvis of Drift Aerospace took the top spot of Aventure Aviation’s 6th Annual Football Pick ‘Em Challenge. The second place winner is Duncan Midkiff of ODS Security, followed by Jeff Shidlofsky of Touchdown Aviation in third.
They received gift cards in the amount of $250, $150, and $75, respectively, as well as the $25 for each weekly winner.
Participants picked the winner for each weekly game for the 2023 National Football League season, which took place September 7, 2023 to January 7, 2024. The championship game, Super Bowl LVIII, will take place February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
Ray Walvis guessed 66.54% of the season’s games correctly, narrowly defeating Duncan Midkiff by less than a percentage point. During Aventure’s 5th Annual competition, Ray missed the top spot by the slightest of margins.
“Last year, I was fortunate enough to place second, so I was trying really hard this year to improve on that,” said Ray. “In the end and with a lot of research, soul-searching, and a good measure of luck, I was able to prevail.”
