PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Employees of Aventure volunteered on January 14 at the Real Life Center, located near Aventure’s Atlanta headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia. They helped sort, pack, and distribute food and disaster relief donations.
“It feels good to give back,” said Aventure Office Manager Chelsea Sneed. “Money is always something people need, but giving one’s time is priceless.”
The Real Life Center provides food, clothing, educational programs, and counseling to needy families of Fayette and Coweta Counties in Georgia. They operate their own orchard, which provides fresh seasonal fruit. The center also runs a mobile food pantry, which also distributes vegetables, canned goods, and baked goods.
Aventure Aviation’s core value of citizenship states: “We are passionate about the opportunity to give back to the places and communities where we live, work, and serve. We look for partnerships with our colleagues and neighbors in making a measurable difference in the lives of others, contributing to a better future.”
