Aventure Intern Receives Scholarship to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure’s high school intern, Jodie Harmon, signed a letter of acceptance for a four-year rowing scholarship to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.

Harmon will major in Aviation Business Administration and row for their Division II team. She is the first athlete in the new Peachtree City Rowing Club to receive a full college rowing scholarship, and said her experience at Aventure Aviation influenced her decision to pursue aviation business.

“’My internship at Aventure Aviation helped me gain multiple one-on-one experiences with representatives of different fields of the business. This exposure allowed me to narrow down exactly the career I would like to pursue at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,” Harmon said.

“I know my Aventure experience will help me excel at Embry-Riddle and in my future career path because barely any high school students have had the incredible opportunity to work in this career,” she continued. “My knowledge and love for aviation has grown tremendously working at Aventure Aviation.”
