ABU DHABI, UAE – Aventure Aviation attended the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX), held February 20–24 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
First taking place in 1993, IDEX is an arms and defence technology sales exhibition. It is the largest event of its kind in the Middle East, and takes place biannually in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Aventure started its military division in 2010 by offering parts and services for Lockheed C-130 transport aircraft.
“We had great synergy with a number of attendees,” said Amyr Qureshi, Aventure’s senior vice president. “For instance, we had productive talks with an original equipment manufacturer, who is looking to have us further expand their product lines throughout the Middle East.”
