Aventure President in Spotlight at Goldman Sachs Business Summit

WASHINGTON, DC – Aventure Aviation president Talha Faruqi was highlighted among 2,500 alumni from the 10,000 Small Businesses program who met in Washington, D.C. on July 18–20, for the 10,000 Small Businesses Summit.

This was the largest-ever gathering of small business owners in the U.S., designed to celebrate and drive their resilience and economic impact, while providing opportunities for them to advocate for their needs.

Small business owners gained insights from business leaders, visionaries, policymakers, and each other on best practices for business growth, hiring, accessing capital and more as they continue to power the U.S. economy and employ the majority of America’s workforce.

Speakers included Warren Buffett, Chairman and CEO, Berkshire Hathaway, and Michael Bloomberg, Founder, Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies

As a featured attendee, posters and banners with Talha’s photo and words of inspiration were visible throughout the summit location, the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. He was quoted in a conference ad, where he said, “All the big companies that you see today, were all small businesses once.”

Talha was chosen to attend a reception with U.S. state leaders, where he led a talk with Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services.
