PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure is celebrating the Year of the Ox, the Lunar New Year holiday observed in China and many Asian countries. Each year of the Chinese zodiac calendar is marked by one of twelve different animals, each bringing characteristics that symbolize various personality traits.
In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal. Due to its role in agriculture, positive characteristic attributes include being hardworking and honest.
In previous years Aventure hosted a luncheon of Chinese cuisine at their Atlanta headquarters with staff learning more about Asian cultures from their colleagues of Asian heritage.
While celebrations vary around the world, they will be observed differently this year as the pandemic forces people to stay at home.
