Aventure Sponsors Student Team for Aerospace Maintenance Competition

ATLANTA, USA – Aventure sponsored a team of students from Atlanta’s Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) at the Aviation Maintenance Competition (AMC), which took place during MRO Americas, held April 18–20 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The annual competition provides an opportunity for current and future maintenance professionals to showcase their abilities and see how they stack up against peers. Teams of five competed in maintenance-related tests intended to assess the skills and knowledge necessary for an aviation maintenance technician.

On May 8, Aventure Aviation announced their commitment to help students get their start in the industry by sponsoring AIM teams for three years.

The AIM team competed against other student teams. Other competition categories included commercial airlines, general aviation, military, repair and manufacturing, and space.

“Aventure is a great partner and sponsor for our team,” said Adrian Wells, Student Service Coordinator for AIM. “We have a great partnership, and we appreciate everything they do.”
