Student Robotics Team Sponsored by Aventure

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure Aviation sponsored a student robotics-building team based in their hometown of Atlanta. The high school-aged team competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge, held January 26 and February 9 at local schools. The team, called “SASH Monkey Wrench Robotics,” won the control award.

The competition follows a sports model, where participating teams of ten or more members design, build, program, and operate their own robots to play a challenging field game against competing teams. It is is organized by FIRST Robotics, a nonprofit that aims to combine the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology.

Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop valuable science, technology, engineering, and maths skills—while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and sharing ideas.
