FAYETTEVILLE, USA – The Fayette Chamber of Commerce has awarded Aventure Aviation President Zaheer Faruqi “Outstanding Business Person of the Year,” at their annual meeting and awards ceremony, held January 17 at Camp Southern Ground in Fayetteville, Georgia.
This award recognizes an exceptional business leader who must demonstrate unselfish support of the community, exhibit a broad range of involvement in civic and community affairs, and excelled at managing and leading their business. Community service has been a core value for Aventure Aviation since its founding in 2001.
“This was indeed a surprise…I really am humbled,” said Zaheer during the award ceremony. “I always wanted to be in a business where I could give back to the community…(and) have a team of young individuals who want to give back…so I am really thrilled where we are today.”
When asked what has made Aventure so successful, Zaheer said “Giving the customers whatever they wanted, and assembling a team of individuals who perform very well. Employees are your best investments.”
