Aventure Aviation has awarded scholarships to three aircraft maintenance technicians enrolled in an accredited and recognized aviation educational institution.
The three scholarships were administered through the Northrop Rice Foundation with one scholarship reserved for an international student studying in USA on student visa. This year's winners are Lyndon A. Thomas, Anthony Lamothe, and William C. Cartrette.

Over a dozen Aventure team members volunteered at the Midwest Food Bank’s Georgia division in Peachtree City on March 20. Together they organized and sorted 14 large pallets of food items.
Established in 2011, the Georgia division distributes over 30,000 cases of food each month, serving over 290 nonprofit organizations from 44 different counties in four states.

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, in conjunction with the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD), presented businesses in various fields with GLOBE (Georgia Launching Opportunities By Exporting) Awards at the reception.

Aventure Aviation will once again sponsor three scholarships for Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) students through the Northrop Rice Foundation. They will support one international student under a U.S. student visa program and two students enrolled in FAA certified Part 147 schools. Aventure Aviation, a leading global supplier of aftermarket aviation parts, has taken first prize in the 2016 Atlanta Metro Export Challenge, a JPMorgan Chase-powered grant program created to support the exporting programs of metro Atlanta companies.
Aventure, which already brings in some 80 percent of its sales from overseas, will use its $20,000 prize to go toward expanding into new markets such as China and Ireland.

Aventure Aviation announced that it will award scholarships to three Aircraft Maintenance Technicians enrolled in an accredited and recognized educational institution.
The three scholarships will be administered through the Northrop Rice Foundation. One international student will be awarded a scholarship valued at $1500 and two US citizens will receive scholarships of $750 and $500, respectively.

Zaheer Faruqi, President of Aventure, spoke during a visit by Fred Hochberg, Chairman of the U.S. Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank, to Atlanta’s Opportunity Hub on April 8.
The Export-Import Bank is a federal agency that helps American businesses sell their products abroad by providing loans to foreign businesses. Zaheer shared Aventure Aviation’s experiences using the bank.
During an interview on NPR radio, Chairman Hochberg cited Aventure as a positive example of the bank’s impact on U.S. businesses.
