Outside Sales Manager – Commercial

Title: Outside Sales Manager – Commercial
Work Location: Peachtree City, Georgia, USA  
Division/Department: Commercial Sales   
Reports to:  Director of Commercial Sales
Hours: 9am–5pm Monday through Friday 
Supervisory Requirement: No
Work Status: Full-time, Nonexempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of short-term and long-term goals and strategies for the commercial division including organizational development
  • Making sales budgets for territory or clients and meeting or exceeding those goals
  • Generating leads–short and long-term opportunities for aircraft parts sales
  • Negotiate purchase orders and contracts with clients.
  • Help determine pricing for quotes, promotions, and stock inventory
  • Developing and implementing strategy to sell stock inventory
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports; fully competent in making and comprehending dashboards
  • Giving sales presentations to customers and prospective clients
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
  • Visit existing and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Work with inside sales team to clearly define support required in achieving sales targets
  • Provide mentor assistance
  • Proactively establish and maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company’s core values
  • Develop strong rapport with customers and build high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Analyze customer’s purchasing patterns in order to better anticipate customer needs

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, aviation or related field
  • Experience in aviation parts sales with existing portfolio of aviation clients
  • An understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • A commitment to high level customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both customers and vendors
  • Be a team player
  • Demonstrable ability to multitask, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  •  Experience in Quantum software preferred
  •  Fluency in additional languages is welcomed

Equipment Use

Must be knowledgeable and able to operate a computer and telephone with a basic understanding of Microsoft software, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time working with a computer
  • Ability to lift/carry 20lbs
  • Little to no travel
