PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure team members came together for “Cape Day” by wearing a cape and sending a message of suppprt to young patients battling illness at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA).
Cape Day launched in 2014 as a way for children and adults to show support and honor kids who spend their days in the hospital battling medical challenges. CHOA is one of the largest pediatric systems in the country.
Aventure staff also donated funds to purchase much needed items from the hospital’s wish list, including amenity kits for patients and their families and distraction toys for children undergoing painful procedures.
Aventure joined the Atlanta Braves, the Atlanta United FC soccer team, the Atlanta Falcons, schools, and other employers to support the patients at CHOA and shared their photos online with the hashtag #CapeDayATL.
