LONDON, ENGLAND – Aventure Aviation′s Director of Business Development for Europe, Alan Taylor, will ride in Cycling4Cancer, taking place September 11 in the U.K.
Alan′s efforts will raise money and awareness in support of vital cancer research, with proceeds going to the London-based charity Cancer Research UK. “Cancer really hits when it affects your family or friends. My wife Jan was diagnosed following a routine examination, and in an instant, our lives changed,” said Alan.
“Fortunately, following chemo, she has been declared cancer free. Without the research we could have been looking at a different scenario…for this reason, I feel a need to help others,” he added.
Alan is grateful to have the support of Aventure while he took time off to look after his wife while she recovered. He encourages people to support his cause by helping with his cancer research fundraising efforts.
