Aventure Volunteers at Midwest Food Bank

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Over a dozen Aventure team members volunteered at the Midwest Food Bank’s Georgia division in Peachtree City on March 20. Together they organized and sorted 14 large pallets of food items.

Established in 2011, the Georgia division distributes over 30,000 cases of food each month, serving over 290 nonprofit organizations from 44 different counties in four states. A faith-based organization, their mission is to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients.

Yuan Long, an Aventure Sales Assistant, said, “I enjoyed the fact that I was helping others even though I did not know them. I felt like one of Santa’s elves!”
