Aventure Awards Student Scholarships

PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure Aviation has continued its tradition of awarding three scholarships to students pursuing their education in a maintenance technician program in a US school meeting FAA standards. The 2019 scholarships were awarded through the Northrop Rice Foundation.

The first scholarship, reserved for an international student, was awarded to Zacharie Halens Francois. The other recipients are Christopher Singh and Christopher Hochenburger. Recipients were announced at the Aviation Technician Education Council annual conference, held March 17–20 in Washington, D.C.

“I will use my education to expose young Haitians to aviation to help them aspire for something greater. I was once in that position…all they need is an opportunity,” said Mr. Francois. “The Aventure Scholarship is one of the many blessings that The Lord has provided for me, one that will allow me to do His work.”
