PEACHTREE CITY, USA – Aventure Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Zaheer Faruqi as CEO, and Talha Faruqi as president, effective January 1.
Formerly serving as president, Zaheer will oversee the long-term strategy and success of the company in his new role.
“I see my CEO title as a daily reminder that I am responsible for customers, employees, and owners, and will make sure that all stakeholders are served,” said Zaheer.
Talha’s elevation from vice president to president comes after he successfully chartered the company through the acquisition of several retired Boeing, Embraer, and Bombardier aircraft the past two years.
“I am honored and humbled on my appointment,” said Talha. “I will carry forward the legacy, while looking to expand our team, customers and new opportunities.”
A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and Embry Riddle University, Talha brings 18 years of experience serving Aventure. He is a member of the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading and serves with several different community organizations.
Zaheer has more than 40 years of aerospace industry experience. He co-founded Aventure Aviation in 2001, and has charted the company’s growth as president for the last 20 years.
